Pride Toronto and Bruce Eves

Everything Makes Me Laugh Immersive InterAccess Gallery Toronto

For Pride Month 2024, Creative Technologist Debbie Deer joined forces with Governor General Award Winning Artist Bruce Eves and InterAccess gallery to present the Immersive work of art, Everything Makes Me Laugh - EMML (A Narrative in Six Parts). Curated by Perry Voulgaris and Kelly McCray. EMML includes Immersive production designed and created by award winning creative technologist Debbie Deer. Using elements of augmented reality and video projection, alongside her technical director Jason Spanu and XR consultants, Emmy Award winning Immersive artist Riyad Alnwili Debbie brings Bruces incredible anthology of work to life with bold, unadulterated storytelling.

The InterAccess Gallery has an interesting 360 wall projection system which we used to display Bruce’s visual arts. Debbie Deer also created animated renditions of Bruce’s gripping art which projected on 3 main walls as well as the infamous blood splatter projection on the studio floor.
