The Nefertiti Experience

Set in Ancient Egypt, The Nefertiti Experience (Story of a Rebel Queen) which is an Afrofuturistic Hybrid XR Theatre production based on the life of Queen Nefertiti. The Nefertiti Experience has been featured in Toronto International Film Festivals ‘Deep Focus’ program, Performance, and XR Conference and was selected for the 2023 Toronto Fringe Festival.
We bring the majestic pyramids of Ancient Egypt to life in our VR experience! Navigate through deserts, tombs and the history Queen Nefertiti; find her bust and return it to the thrown before it’s too late. Along with the teams of OYA Black Arts Coalition (OBAC) and Collimation, we created an exciting interactive experience unlike no other for the Quest Meta headset.
