Luminato Festival
Henry G20 is a bold retelling of the conflict between police and protesters during the G20 Summit in Toronto in June 2010. The story was brought to life by an augmented reality podplay. As visual lead, Debbie Deer headed the photography, 3D modelling, graphic design of AR posters (portals) and AR videos for the production.

AR Bridges Videos
Writer and Director Christine Brubaker wanted to augmented the Henry G20 posters to bring the story of the G20 riots to life. Christine and Debbie Deer came together and created ‘AR Bridges’ which would activate when audience members scanned the posters with their phones. See examples below of the AR Bridges. Augmented Reality Posters
Writer and Director of HenryG20 Christine Brubaker along with app developers Luke Garwood and Jacob Niedzwiecki teamed up with 3D modellers Ruslan Makarov and Paulo Uemura to model people who were detained during the G20 riots. From clothing colours and styles, body types, gender identities, racial identities and ages variations, Debbie Deer lead the design of the humanoid 3D models used in the AR rendition of the detention centre during the 2010 G20 riots in Toronto.
